Bio:-

The 30-year-old all-rounder made her international debut on 3rd June 2018 in a T20I against Pakistan. She has scored 762 runs at a strike rate of 93.04 in 65 innings. Her best performance with the bat for Thailand in the format came on 30th August 2021 when she scored an unbeaten 46 runs at an impressive strike rate of 164.28 against Zimbabwe.

Apart from her exploits with the bat, she has also picked up 67 wickets at a strike rate of 19.4 an average of 13.85, and an economy of 4.26 in 78 innings with the ball. Her tally of wickets includes one four-wicket haul and one five-wicket haul. Her best performance with the ball in the format for Thailand came on 15th January 2019 when she returned with exceptional match figures (4-2-4-5) in her spell against Indonesia in Thailand Women’s T20 Smash.

She made her ODI debut on 20th November 2022 against the Netherlands. She has scored 73 runs at a strike rate of 61.34 in seven innings with the bat. Her best performance with the bat for Thailand in the format came on 21st April 2023 when she scored 25 runs at a strike rate of 86.20 against Zimbabwe.

Apart from her contributions with the bat, she has also picked up seven wickets in eight innings at a strike rate of 33.2, an average of 20.28, and an exceptional economy of 3.65 with the ball for Thailand in the format. Her best performance with the ball for her side in the format came on 21st April 2023 when she returned with sensational match figures (4-0-14-2) against Zimbabwe.

She is a prominent figure in Thailand cricket and gained recognition for her outstanding performance in the sport. She became the first Thailand cricketer to achieve a hat trick in a women’s T20I in the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier. She emerged as the leading wicket-taker and was named as the Player of the Tournament in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in Scotland in the year 2019.

Her remarkable achievements were further acknowledged by the International Cricket Council (ICC) when she was honored as the ICC Women’s Emerging Player of the Year in December 2019. Sutthiruang’s consistent performance led to her inclusion in Thailand’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia, solidifying her position as a key player in the team. Her contributions continued to be recognized, with a nomination for the ICC Women’s Associate Cricketer of the Decade award in November 2020. In November 2021, she once again represented Thailand in the Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe, demonstrating her enduring impact and commitment to the sport. Additionally, Sutthiruang played a vital role for Thailand in the Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup in October 2022, further highlighting her significance in the team.
