The 26-year-old leg-spinner made her international debut on 3rd June 2018 in a T20I against Pakistan. She has picked up 60 wickets at a strike rate of 18.6 an average of 13.10, and an economy of 4.21 in 57 innings. Her best performance with the ball for Thailand came on 18th January 2019 when she returned with exceptional match figures (3.4-0-9-4) in her spell against the United Arab Emirates in the semi-final of the Thailand Women’s T20 Smash. Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also scored 62 runs with a strike rate of 58.49 in 18 innings.
She made her ODI debut on 20th November 2022 against the Netherlands. In the 7 innings so far, she has picked up 14 wickets with the ball at a strike rate of 20.5, an average of 12.28, and an economy of 3.58 for her side. Her best performance with the ball for Thailand in the format came on 24th November 2022 when she returned with brilliant match figures (9-1-26-4) in her spell against the Netherlands.
Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also scored 61 runs at a strike rate of 59.80 in five innings. Her best performance with the bat for Thailand in the format came on 21st April 2023 when she scored 22 runs at a strike rate of 104.76 against Zimbabwe.
Her consistency led to further opportunities, including participation in the 2019 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament in Scotland and selection for the Women’s Global Development Squad in October 2019. Laomi’s achievements earned her a place in Thailand’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia, highlighting her importance to the team. She continued to represent Thailand in the 2021 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe, showcasing her skills on the international stage once again. Additionally, Laomi contributed to Thailand’s campaign in the Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup in October 2022, further solidifying her role in the team.
