Seasoned Sri Lankan cricketer, Udeshika Prabodhani’s impactful presence was evident when she was named in Sri Lanka’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies, where she emerged as the joint-leading wicket-taker for her team, securing four dismissals in three matches. Prabodhani’s skill and experience earned her a spot in Sri Lanka’s squad for the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia, highlighting her significance in the team’s bowling lineup.

Prabodhani also featured in the squad for the 2021 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe. Her contributions were further recognized when she was included in the team for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Cricket Qualifier in Malaysia and subsequently in the national squad for the cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
