Kavisha Dilhari, having started playing domestic cricket at a young age, made her Women’s One Day International debut against Pakistan Women in March 2018. Later the same year, she debuted in the Twenty20 International in September 2018, against India. Her inclusion in Sri Lanka’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies highlighted her growing prominence in the team.
