Sri Lanka Women continued their domination in the ODI series against West Indies Women with another close victory in the second match of the ongoing multi-format white-ball tour. Batting first, Sri Lanka posted 208 runs. Though it wasn’t a massive total, it was a competitive score on the board. In reply, West Indies Women once again put up a spirited fight in the chase. However, Sri Lanka’s disciplined bowling attack kept striking at regular intervals. The hosts were bowled out for 194 in 48 overs, resulting in Sri Lanka winning by 14 runs and sealing the series by 2-0 in the three match ODI series. Heading into the third ODI, Sri Lanka will aim for a clinical 3-0 sweep, while West Indies will look to bounce back and end the series on a positive note before they enter the T20I leg of the tour.
