After playing a nerve-wracking series against Australia in the Women’s Ashes Series, the English side is set to return to the international playing field as they face the visitors Sri Lanka in a 3-match T20I series as well as a 3-match ODI series.
England are coming on from an impressive Ashes series, where they defeated the World Champions in both the limited-over series while losing the one-off test, which led to them losing the urn as the series was tied at the scoreline of 8-8.
The visitors too will be pretty high on confidence, as they defeated New Zealand in their last one-day series. Although the Sri Lankan side lost the shortest-format series against the visitors New Zealand. Captain Chamari Athapaththu was the star player for Sri Lanka as she notched up 2 centuries in 3 games in the ODI series.
