Former captain of the South African men’s team and the Director of cricket CSA, Graeme Smith, believes that their side is growing quickly by strength and feels that the series win against India, in India is a “massive achievement” that cannot be understated.

Even with four major players missing out in the 3rd and 4th ODI, including Skipper Sune Luus, South Africa over-powered India in both the matches to claim the title.

“Congratulations to the Proteas for a fantastic series win in India. It is one of the most difficult places in the world to tour and for our players to go there and beat the hosts in their own back yard, with a match to spare is a massive achievement, which cannot be understated,” said Smith in CSA release.
