Schedule for South Africa women’s tour of India announced, ODIs in Bengaluru, T20I and Test in Chennai

Fixtures announced for India’s home series against South Africa in June.

The Indian women’s team led by skipper Harmanpreet Kaur will host South Africa for an all-format series that includes a three-match ODI series at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, followed by a one-off Test Match and then a three-match T20I series at the MA. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai

The bilateral series will get underway on 16th June 2024 and will conclude on 9th July 2024. The South African women’s team last played a Test Match in India, it was way back in the year 2014 in Mysore. India managed to seal a comprehensive victory by an innings and 34 runs. The MA. Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk in Chennai will host a women’s Test Match for the first time since 7th November 1976, when the West Indies played a Test match against India. The match eventually ended in a draw.
