Players to watch out:
Madhuri Mehta
The 32-year-old top-order batter looked in good form throughout the Senior Women’s T20 (SWT20) competition, accumulating 178 runs from 6 outings. She averaged 35.60 and notched up the highest of 81*. Madhuri has failed to carry forward this form into the Inter Zonals, departing on scores of 6(9) and 0(5), and it’ll be watched if she can stage a comeback.
Saika Ishaque
The 28-year-old off-spinner has been in scintillating form of late and finished her Senior Women’s T20 (SWT20) campaign with the highest tally of 18 wickets at an economy rate of 4.22 from 9 outings. Riding high on confidence, in the Inter Zonals, she has produced bowling figures of 1/16, 2/17, 2/2, and 0/16. She’ll be banked on to deliver the goods.
Harleen Deol
The 25-year-old all-rounder, in seven outings in the ’23 SWT20 Trophy, amassed 204 runs, striking at 110.27 and averaging 40.80, while also being among the wickets. In the Inter Zonals, Harleen has missed out on an opportunity to follow up with another good campaign and present her case, departing on scores of 25(18), 2(8), 0(2), and 3(4). The team will back Harleen to rediscover her form with the bat.
Neelam Bisht
The 27-year-old leg-spinner continued to impress in the recently concluded SWT20 season, taking 10 wickets from 8 outings, averaging 12.70, and maintaining an economy rate of 4.53. Neelam hasn’t had enough game time in the Inter Zonals yet; however, in the little she’s been in the spotlight, she’s done well, finishing with figures of 1/3 (1) and 0/12 (2). She’s a valuable all-rounder and must be trusted to contribute more to the team.
Pitch:
The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cricket Stadium dishes a fairly balanced center wicket, but bowlers, especially spinners, hold the advantage. The average score at the venue is in the 90s; however, batters, if they spend enough time in the middle, can switch gears seamlessly.

The conditions at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Cricket Stadium are expected to be pleasant for the game, despite cloudy skies, as the chances of rain are minimal. The temperature is forecasted to be around 23°C, with light winds and humidity at 70%.
