In match no. 43 of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, Sunrisers, and Western Storm will face each other at the Radlett Cricket Club, Radlett, in the third and final leg of the tournament. This game is set to take place on the 5th of September, 2023, with live action starting at 3:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
Both the Western Storm and Sunrisers have had a challenging season, with only a couple of wins to their name. This has led to them occupying the lower positions on the table, with the Western Storm at 7th and Sunrisers at 8th place.

Players to watch out:
Grace Scrivens
The 19-year-old all-rounder recently captained the England development side in a match against Sri Lanka. Although she was dismissed for just 9 runs, she delivered an impressive bowling performance, scalping 3 wickets for 27 runs. Grace had a decent stint with the London Spirit, contributing valuable runs, and in the 2023 RHF Trophy, she continues her competition with a total of 217 runs from 6 games.
Jodi Grewcock
The 19-year-old all-rounder didn’t fail to leave a mark in her only competitive cricket appearance this summer. Jodi in 6 RHF Trophy matches, has scored 198 runs and claimed 7 wickets in 2 games. Her standout performances of the summer include a 76 with the bat and bowling figures of 4/45, both that which she got to against the Southern Vipers.
Sophie Luff
The 29-year-old batter has enjoyed a decent run this summer in domestic competitions. Sophie scored 150 runs in 7 Charlotte Cup outings, but in 5 RHF Trophy matches, she has only managed to accumulate 108 runs. Nevertheless, Luff is a promising batter and will aim to build on the momentum she gained during the Charlotte Cup games.
Lauren Filer
The 22-year-old pacer has spent the summer with the senior national team. Lauren enjoyed a brilliant Test debut and is on the verge of making her One-Day International (ODI) debut with the series against Sri Lanka just around the corner. Leading up to the game, Filer could feature for the Storm in the upcoming match against the Sunrisers, continuing her RHF Trophy campaign, where she has taken 8 wickets in 6 games.
Pitch:
With the track being on the slower side, batting hasn’t been easy, and the average score at the venue, which is 108, suggests the same. Bowlers, especially spinners, dictate the proceedings of the game as the ball grips and turns.
Weather:
It will be a bright, sunny day at The Radlett Cricket Club, Radlett, with the temperature expected to hover around 27°C. There will be light winds, and the humidity level will be 58%. With no rain on the radar, we are in for a complete game of cricket.
