Players to watch out:

Heather Knight

The 33-year-old top-order batter, from 132 ODI outings, has amassed 3874 runs at an average of 36.54, while from 59 bowling innings has chipped in taking 56 wickets, with bests being 106 and 5/26. Heather kicked off the series with a fine 49 and though didn’t score many runs in the subsequent games, she scored a solid 29 in the ODI opener. She can be relied upon to lead the scoring.

Kate Cross

The 32-year-old pacer, from 62 ODI outings, has bagged 85 wickets, including the best of 5/24, at an economy rate of 4.43, while also being handy with the bat, adding 222 runs to the tally from 31 innings. Kate’s returns in this series read 2/46 (10) in the ODI opener and 0/11 (3.5) in the rain-affected 2nd ODI. She has shown good rhythm and will be counted on for breakthroughs.

Muneeba Ali

The 26-year-old keeper-batter, from 41 ODI innings, has accumulated 919 runs at an average of 22.97, and notched up the highest of 107. Muneeba had a quiet start to the series, dismissed for scores of 10, 18, and 3, before managing a fine 34 in the ODI opener. She’ll be backed to make the most of this return to form, converting the score into a big one.

Nida Dar

The 37-year-old all-rounder in ODIs has scalped 107 wickets from 109 outings at an economy rate of 4.16, while from 96 innings has scored 1690 runs. Nida has displayed outstanding form in this series, producing figures of 0/23, 2/33, 3/45, and 3/56, while registering scores of 29* and 26 in her previous couple of batting outings. She’ll be banked upon for the goods.

Pitch:

The center wicket at Chelmsford’s Cloud County Ground provides a somewhat neutral deck as the conditions favor both batters and bowlers. Pacers, in particular, benefit from the conditions, and the average score at the venue is in the 230s.
