The Bangladesh women as far as the One Day International format is concerned were last involved in a three-match ODI series against India at home. They managed to draw the ODI series as the third game ended in a tie. The series concluded on 22nd July 2023, earlier this year.
While, on the other hand, Pakistan were last involved in a three-match ODI series against South Africa which they ended up on the losing side by a (2-1) margin. The series concluded on 14th September 2023.
Both these sides, Bangladesh and Pakistan are currently involved in a limited-over series in Bangladesh. The home side clinched a historic series victory (2-1), their first-ever in the T20I format against Pakistan.
The caravan moves on to the three-match ODI series that will commence on 4th November 2023 and conclude on 10 November 2023. The home side Bangladesh has announced their squad for the upcoming ODI series against Pakistan.

The squad includes a couple of players of the likes of Sumaiya Akter, and Nishita Akter Nishi who received their maiden call-ups into the national squad ahead of the ODI series. All the matches of the ODI series will be played at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.
