England clinched the ODI series, winning 3-0, after a nine-wicket victory in the inaugural ODI and an eight-wicket win in the second, they concluded the series with a five-wicket victory in the final ODI. Freya Kemp remained unbeaten with 26 off 17 balls, setting a target of 198 runs. New Zealand’s chase began with Suzie Bates scoring 43 off 33 balls before being bowled by Sarah Glenn, Jess Kerr added few lower order contributions with 38 runs off 26 balls and Lea Tahuhu also added 17 runs but at the end New Zealand could only manage to put 138 on board with loss of 9 wickets at the end of 20 overs, resulting in England’s victory by 59 runs.
