Known for her dual role as a proficient batter and a skilled wicketkeeper, she recently surpassed Sarah Taylor as England’s leading wicket keeper with the most dismissals. Since her ODI debut against Sri Lanka on February 1, 2013, Jones has steadily evolved, overcoming initial challenges to become a pivotal figure in English cricket. She has amassed an impressive record across her international career, which spans 91 matches to date. In these appearances, she has accumulated a total of 1951 runs. Despite a six-year wait for her first international half-century, Jones had a commanding innings of 94 against India in Nagpur in early 2018. This breakthrough performance marked a turning point for her.

Amy Jones made her Test debut against Australia at Taunton in July 2019. Despite limited opportunities in the longest format of the game, she has made an impact, featuring in a total of six Test matches. Her highest score of 64 runs in Test format, achieved against Australia in her debut match. While her Test career is still developing, Amy Jones continues to contribute to England’s cricketing realm.

Amy Jones made her T20I debut against Pakistan on July 5, 2013, marking the beginning in the shortest format of international cricket. She has featured in a total of 103 T20I matches. Over the course of her T20I career, Jones has accumulated 1481 runs. Her highest score of 89 runs, achieved against Pakistan in 2019. Amy Jones’s contributions with the bat, combined with her agility behind the stumps as a wicketkeeper, have made her an integral part of England’s T20I squad.
