Players to watch out:

Sarah Uwera

27-year-old Uwera has accumulated over 400 runs in the international circuit. She accounts for four 30+ scores with a career-best of (60*). In her recent outings, her scores did not make much of a difference to the scorecard. The right-handed batter will fancy her chances with an optimistic outlook and add runs to the tally in the coming games.

Evelyn Anyipo

26-year-old Anyipo is a conditioned campaigner in Rwanda setup. With 41 wickets at an average of 15.21 in WT20Is she set high standards in the dugout. Her ability to bowl in the delicate powerplay overs as well as in the tough make-or-break overs sets her apart from the crowd. In this editions Kwibuka Tournament so far, she’s persistently picked wickets at a mind-blowing economy rate. The right-handed medium pacers’ best figures in the tournament of (2/14) came against Nigeria.

Consylate Aweko

Bowling veteran Consylate holds her best figures of (4/6) with a nerve-wracking average of just 10.04. She possesses a great threat to the opposition with her expansive experience. The offie bowls with an immaculate economy consistently which adds to the batters’ woes. Wickets have come by consistently to the 32-year-old in this tournament. Her spells against Botswana (2/19) and Kenya (2/12) are the standout performances in the tournament so far.

Rita Musamali

Musamali brings to the table, all three dimensions of the game. Be it batting or bowling, positive results have kept coming. With runs in excess of 700 at the international stage, she will be expected to end her drought of runs. Although she’s gotten a couple of not-out scores in the tournament so far, the aim will be to aggregate runs at every opportunity thrown at her.

Pitch:

The 22 yards remain dry and will offer a turn to the spinners with occasional low bounce and going deeper into the tournament, the uneven bounce will most likely play as a key factor with cracks opening up.
