Match number eight of the 2nd edition of the Kwibuka Women’s International T20 Tournament is all set to be played out between Nigeria and Kenya at the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Kigali at 05:15 PM (IST) Indian Standard Time.
Squads:
Nigeria – Blessing Etim (c), Favour Eseigbe, Rukayat Abdulrasak, Adeshola Adekunle, Peculiar Agboya, Omonye Asika, Sarah Etim (wk), Abigail Igbobie (wk), Agatha Obulor, Oseyende Omonkhobio, Lucky Piety, Rachael Samson, Esther Sandy, Salome Sunday

Players to watch out:
Rachael Samson
Samson, a swashbuckling all-rounder for the Nigerian contingent, her bowling exemplifies accuracy. As the line and lengths delivered by this 21-year-old restrict the flow of runs. With 37 wickets on the international stage and best figures of (4/13) at a career average of 14.86, she’ll play an eminent role in the upcoming games at the Kwibuka Tournament.
Lucky Piety
The 16-year-old young gun has shown quite some capability in her short span of time on the international stage. In their first game of the tournament against Rwanda, she got off to a ballistic start but failed to convert it. She’ll be hopeful to get things in order for the Kenya game.
Esther Wachira
Multi-dimensional Wachira has fine-tuned her batting and bowling abilities to best contribute to her nation. Hitting consistent lines, taking the occasional wickets, and bowling the tough make-or-break overs, she has done it all. Averaging 18.62 on the global stage with the ball and with a high score of (47*), a lot will be expected from her.
Lavendah Idambo
She has scalped 23 wickets on the global stage at a staggering average of 21. In the recently concluded Victoria Women’s T20 series, she proved to be extremely economical, thanks to the hard line and the consistent length she hits time and again. She’ll look to be amongst the wickets this time around.
Pitch:
A well-balanced track with a slight advantage for the batters. But it’s only a matter of hitting the right lengths for the bowlers and restricting their counterparts to a lower total.
Weather:
Comfortable playing conditions are forecasted, with temperatures hovering around mid-20 degrees and a slight chance of rain. Although it will remain overcast for a major part of the day.
Fantasy Playing XI:
Abigail Igbobie (wk), Salome Sunday, Lucky Piety, Venasa Ooko, Favour Eseigbe, Queentor Abel, Esther Wachira, Lavendah Idambo, Rachael Samson, Agatha Obulor, Rukayat Abdulrasak
