Players to watch out:

Kevin Awino

Wicketkeeping specialist Awino has over 700 runs on the international stage. With the highest score of (95*) and three 50’s she’s been a comprehensive contributor to Uganda. In the women’s T20 Quadrangular series in Namibia earlier this year, she got off to lovely starts and will look forward to converting this time around in the Kwibuka Tournament.

Consylate Aweko

Bowling veteran Consylate holds her best figures of (4/6) with a nerve-wracking average of just 10.04. She possesses a great threat to the opposition with her expansive experience. The offie bowls with an immaculate economy consistently which adds to the batters’ woes.

Sarah Uwera

27-year-old Uwera has accumulated over 400 runs in the international circuit. She accounts for four 30+ scores with a career-best of (60*). In her recent outings, her scores did not make much of a difference to the scorecard. The right-handed batter will fancy her chances with an optimistic outlook and add runs to the tally in the coming games.

Belsye Murekatete

19-year-old Belsye is a fine all-rounder, her numbers in the bowling department on the international stage sets her apart. With 25 wickets at a mind-boggling average of just 13, she’s capable of restricting runs and also damaging well-knit partnerships. In their first game against Botswana, she picked up (2/6), we can only see those stats getting better from here.

Pitch :

In recent times the stadium has undergone great changes to accommodate modern facilities. The 22 yards remains dry and will offer turn to the spinners with occasional low bounce and this being the second day of play, uneven bounce is most likely.

Weather:

Comfortable playing conditions are forecasted ahead of the game, with temperatures hovering around mid-20 degrees and minimal chance of precipitation.
