We’ve ultimately arrived at the threshold, as the 2nd edition of the Kwibuka Women’s T20 Tournament kicks off on the 10th of June 2023 at The Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centre, Kigali where Kenya faces off against Uganda. 25-year-old batter, Ooko has an improving average on the international stage. Recently her top knock of 57*(55) came against Rwanda which tells volumes about her skillset.

Lavendah Idambo

The right-arm pacer sees ahead a well-set-up cricketing career. She has scalped 23 wickets on the global stage at a staggering average of 21.

Prosscovia Alako

Alako remains a great asset to the Uganda side. With over 500 runs on the international stage, she is destined for more. Most recently her valuable 85 against UAE was the highlight.

Irene Alumo

Alumo has a great knack of picking wickets and denting the opposition’s batting order. With a comprehensive average of just 11.76, Uganda will bank on her in this tournament.

In recent times the stadium has undergone great changes to accommodate modern facilities. The 22 yards remain dry and will offer turn to the spinners with occasional low bounce.
