One of the most popular women’s league of England, Kia Super League (KSL) is in its last leg of 2019 edition. Each of the six teams has played nine matches so far and the top three spots have been decided even before each team’s tenth match.

Western Storm (WS) (Played 9, Won 9) remains the table-toppers with their unbeatable golden run in this edition of the tournament. WS have secured their place in the finals irrespective of the result of their last match with Yorkshire Diamonds.

Loughborough Lightning (Played 9, Won 6 and Lost 3) and Southern Vipers (Played 9, Won 4, Lost 3, Tie 1, No result 1) are placed second and third respectively. With last game against each other, the order may change but both are set to contest in the semi-final.

Although India’s Jemimah Rodrigues helped Yorkshire Diamonds (Played 9, Won 4, Lost 5) comeback in the second leg of the league, could not topple the top three spots in the points table.

Surrey Stars (Played 9, Won 2, Lost 6, No Result 1) and Lancashire Thunder’s (Played 9, Lost 8, Tied 1) dismal show put them at the bottom of the points table.

On September 1, it is going to be a Super-Sunday at County Ground, Hove, England, as the venue will first host the semi-final and then the final of 2019 KSL. Western Storm will compete against the winners of semi-final between Loughborough Lightning and Southern Vipers in the super-final in the evening.
