Loughborough Lightning’s Hayley Matthews and Kathryn Bryce leave for their respective national duties

Kia Super League’s Loughborough Lightning team will miss two of its players, Hayley Matthews and Kathryn Bryce for the rest of the tournament as the two have been called for their respective national duties.

While all-rounder Hayley Matthews will return to West Indies women for international duties, Kathryn Bryce (also Loughborough Lightning’s captain in a few matches) will join Scottish team for the upcoming 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup qualifiers.

Early next month, West Indies Women have to play Australia Women and T20 World Cup qualifiers warm-up is to be played on 29th of August in Scotland.

Both the players have made a valuable contribution for their league team as Loughborough Lightning stands at the second spot in the points table after nine games and have ensured their place in semi-finals irrespective of the result of the 10th match.

South Africa’s player Shabnim Ismail will fill in the Matthews ‘s spot in the team.
