1) Claire Nicholas: The English bowler continues to have a good season of KSL 2019, she took 2/29 in 4 overs, which includes key wicket of Danielle Wyatt.
2) Tash Farrant: The left-arm quickie bowled an excellent spell of fast bowling with the figures of 3/ 23 in 4 overs. Which included key wickets of Mandhana and Knight. Undoubtedly this spell of her turned the match into a nail biter.

Summary: Western Storm defeated Southern Vipers by 3 wickets on Sunday at Rose Bowl, Southampton.

After winning the toss, Vipers skipper Beaumont decided to bat. They had a disappointing start to the Innings as the key batter Danielle Wyatt was out for a duck on the second ball of the match in the bowling of Nicholas. Later, veteran Suzie Bates and dashing player Beaumont built a partnership of 66 runs before the latter was dismissed on 37 by Shrubsole. Suzie Bates after scoring a slow 38 departed on the bowling of Knight. Windies Superstar Stafanie Taylor took the responsibility of setting a good score and played an excellent inning of 44 which helped Southern Vipers to reach 142 in 20 overs. Claire Nicholas was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets, senior players Shrubsole and Knight chipped in with one wicket each.

Chasing the moderate total of 143, Rachel Priest got out early for 4  after hitting a boundary in the first over. The experienced duo of Mandhana and Knight had a good partnership of 71. Which made the chase look like a cakewalk for Storms. As soon as the Southpaw Mandhana got out to the left arm quickie Farrant on 30 and followed by the departure of Knight by Farrant. Vipers were right back in the game. The experienced batter Fran Wilson took the responsibility of chasing after the loss of those two important wickets, she scored a match-winning 40 runs and Sophie luff played a crucial cameo of 23 which helped Storm to reach the target in the penultimate ball of the match with three wickets left. For Vipers, left arm Farrant was Excellent with the bowl getting 3 wickets for 23 in 4 overs.

On the whole, finally, KSL 19 witnessed an edge of the seat thriller and a nail biter. Vipers after the loss will be traveling to London to play against Stars to earn crucial points, Where chances of rain look high. Western Storm after Hattrick of wins would like to continue their winning streak in the tournament.
