Ama Kanchana top scored with an unbeaten 47 while for India, Smriti Mandhana led the run chase with an undefeated 94. With the ball, India’s Renuka Singh struck with four wickets, on the other hand, the Sri Lankan bowlers went wicketless.

Smriti Mandhana:
The left-handed opening batter of India starred with the bat as she top scored with an unbeaten 94 off 83 balls, including 11 boundaries and a six in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. The southpaw stitched a 174-run partnership with her opening partner Shafali Verma to steer India to a 10-wicket win.
Renuka Singh Thakur:
The right arm speedster from India wreaked havoc with the ball as she scalped 28/4 in 10 overs, including one maiden. She opened the bowling and struck in the very first over of the match. She bowled well with the new ball, giving the perfect start to India.
Nilakshi de Silva:
The right-handed middle order batter of Sri Lanka registered 32 runs off 62 balls, including three boundaries in the second ODI against India. She came in to bat in the 16th over when her team was struggling at 42/4 and was there in the middle holding the innings at one end till the 39th over of the match.
Ama Kanchana:
The right-handed lower order batter top scored with an unbeaten 47 off 83 balls in the second ODI against India. She smashed a couple of boundaries in her innings and guided her team to a respectable score of 173 in 50 overs. Apart from her batting, she bowled 3.4 overs and conceded 33 runs.
Pitch
This will be the third women’s ODI that will be played at this venue. The team batting second has won both the matches played here so far. The average first innings score is 172 and the average second innings score is 175. Though the scores may not seem to be in the favour of batters, the wicket is good for batting. With respect to the bowlers, the fast bowlers were more successful than the spinners in the last match that was played here.
