Summary:
After registering victories in the first two matches of the series, Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian unit has registered a victory in the third match at Guyana against the hosts and sealed the series. The third match was a low-scoring affair where the hosts won the toss and decided to bat first, the openers of the side couldn’t do much Hayley Mathews and Stacy king were out after making 5 and 7 runs respectively. Even the middle order couldn’t contribute much with everyone getting out in single-digit scores, the same followed by the tail-enders. Out of which Chedean Nation and Chinelle Henry made 11 runs each which was the highest score of their innings. The bowling unit of India was magnificent with all the six bowlers picking up wickets, Radha Yadav and Deepti Sharma grabbing 2 wickets each.
The windies innings surrendered to 59 runs with losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.

Then came India to chase the Minimal score which they reached in 16.4 overs. The openers Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana failed to give a start to the side, Then Jemimah Rodrigues coming down at No.3 and eventually lead the side to victory by scoring 40 runs in 51 balls, on the other side Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur was out on 7 runs and then came down Deepti Sharma who supported Jemimah till the end, India made 60 runs with losing only 3 wickets. India now leads the series by 3-0, They have technically won the series. Windies bowlers were short of efforts, Hayley Matthews picked up 2 wickets while Fletcher picked up a single wicket.

The visitors have looked the superior side on all the occasions previously, winning the first T20I by 84 runs,the second by 10 wickets and third by 7 wickets. The hosts are missing their regular captain Stafanie Taylor badly but despite all odds and previous losses, they have to win the next contests to keep the series uptight.
