Team India’s stylish opening batter Smriti Mandhana has just scripted history at Metricon Stadium, scoring the first-ever Test Hundred by an Indian woman on Australian soil.

Smriti Mandhana took 170 balls to reach the century Milestone in Day/Night Pink Ball Test Match on Day 2 of the game.

Smriti Mandhana became only the 2nd female player to score a Century against Australian women in Test after Sandhya Agarwal who scored in 1984.
