Batting first, Australia posted a total of 264 Runs on the board after 50 overs. India at once looked at a comfortable position after Shafali Verma and Yastika Bhatia stitched a Century Runs partnership, but their departures opened the doors for Australia to strengthen their hold on the game.
With just 5 Runs needed of the last over, Jhulan Goswami and Meghna Singh at the crease, it could have been anyone’s match. But Jhulan ensured India take revenge for the loss they had to face in the 2nd ODI.
