NEPAL WINS A CLOSE MATCH AGAINST CHINA BY 5 RUNS
China women decided to let Nepal Women bat first, after winning the toss. Nepal gave a target of 78 runs to China after scoring 77 runs in 20 overs for a loss of 9 wickets. Opener Kajal Shrestha scored the maximum 18 runs. Wang Meng and Han Lili continued their good form and picked 2 wickets each. China was looking forward to win the match but Zhang Mei’s wicket made things difficult for the team in the end overs. Sita Magar was declared Player of the Match as she contributed to Zhang Mei’s run out and took 3 wickets as well. China women played their full 20 overs and scored 72 runs. As a result, Nepal won by 5 runs.
