Initially introduced into the middle order, she was quickly trusted with greater responsibility, opening the batting later in the series in place of an injured Alyssa Healy. An ODI debut followed against Pakistan in early 2023 before she added a Test cap against England at Trent Bridge later that year, completing an impressive rise across all three formats within months.
