Seventh match was played between Pakistan and Bangladesh, a nail biting match where Maroof and co. displayed an overall performance, yet again, and won by 8 runs.
Opting to bat first, Pakistan posted 106-7 in 20 overs. Javeria Khan scored 21 runs in 15 balls with 2 boundaries. Other than her, Maroof (22 runs), Ayasha Zafar (18 runs) and Nida Dar (19 runs) were the other contributors. Khadija and Salma took 2 wickets each in 4 overs by giving 18 and 19 runs respectively.
While chasing this score, Bangladesh felt short of 8 runs to win. Fargana Hoque scored 28 runs in 41 balls with one 4 and then lost her wicket in form of run-out. Rumana Ahmed and Lata Mondal with 10 runs each were the other two contributors. Sana Mir, Aiman Anwer and Bismah Maroof took 2 wickets each. The best amongst them was Bismah Maroof, who took only 2 overs to take 2 wickets by giving only 12 runs.
