The Hundred Women’s Competition 2026 is all set to begin on July 21, 2026 (Tuesday), bringing together some of the biggest names in women’s cricket for another exciting season of 100-ball action. The tournament will run until August 16, 2026 (Sunday), with eight teams competing for the title across some of England’s most iconic cricket venues.
This season marks a new era for The Hundred after several franchises adopted new identities following private investment linked to IPL ownership. Fans can also look forward to a stronger competition with increased salary caps, world-class overseas stars and plenty of exciting young talent from England.
The tournament will begin with defending champions Sunrisers Leeds Women taking on MI London Women at The Oval, while the grand final will be played at Lord’s on August 16, 2026 (Sunday).
The Hundred Women’s Competition 2026
The sixth edition of The Hundred promises another month of entertaining cricket, with each innings consisting of just 100 balls. Since its introduction, the tournament has become one of the biggest events in the women’s cricket calendar, attracting some of the best players from around the world.
Several international captains and experienced stars will feature this season, including Meg Lanning, Ellyse Perry, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Sophie Devine, Beth Mooney, Laura Wolvaardt, Sophie Molineux, Smriti Mandhana, Deandra Dottin, Ashleigh Gardner and many more.
Alongside the international stars, England’s leading players and several exciting young talents will also be looking to make their mark during the competition.
