Spinners, Georgia Redmayne guides London Spirit back to winning ways with a comprehensive victory

London Spirit led by skipper Heather Knight were all set to face Manchester Originals led by skipper Sophie Ecclestone at Lord’s London in the 23rd match of the season.
London Spirit skipper Heather Knight won the toss and opted to field first. After being inserted to bat first, the Manchester Originals openers Beth Mooney and Laura Wolvaardt got their side off to a steady start with a 13-run opening partnership. Charlie Dean cleaned up Laura Wolvaardt to provide the first breakthrough for London Spirit. Emma Lamb joined Beth Mooney at the crease and the duo stitched a crucial 16-run partnership for the 2nd wicket.
