Skipper Heather Knight holds her nerve to take London Spirit over the line in a tense run chase against the defending champions.

The defending champions Southern Brave led by skipper Georgia Adams were all set to face London Spirit led by skipper Heather Knight in the 2nd match of the season. London Spirit skipper Heather Knight won the toss and opted to field first. After being inserted to bat first, the Southern Brave openers Danielle Wyatt and Maia Bouchier got their side off to a good start, with a 57-run opening partnership.

Chloe Tryon joined skipper Georgia Adams at the crease and the duo provided the finishing touches to the innings with a 41-run 5th wicket partnership to take their side closer to the 150-run mark. Southern Brave eventually ended up with a total of 151/6 in their quota of 100 deliveries.
