Players to watch out:

Amy Jones

The 30-year-old keeper-batter has had a brilliant summer, chipping in with valuable runs for the senior women’s team. Jones had a brilliant Charlotte Edwards (CE) Cup, contributing 167 runs in 4 outings, and she has been equally good at The Hundred as well, registering 312 runs in 15 games.

Issy Wong

The 21-year-old pace all-rounder had a decent run across tournaments this summer, scalping 8 wickets in 7 Rachael Heyhoe Flint (RHF) Trophy outings and a couple of wickets in 3 CE Cup games, while also chipping in with handy runs. With 110 runs and 9 wickets in 15 outings at The Hundred, Wong has been promising in The Hundred as well.

Lizelle Lee

The retired 31-year-old batter, in 99 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), has scored 3315 runs, including the highest of 132*. Lizelle has had brilliant previous editions at The Hundred, scoring 395 runs, with the highest of 68 in 14 innings at a strike rate of 128.66.

Alana King

The 27-year-old leg-spinner has struck 21 wickets in 22 T20I innings and has been handy with the bat on many occasions. Alana picked up the first-ever hat-trick of The Hundred and finished the previous edition with 8 wickets in as many innings, delivering her spells at an economy rate of 5.83.

Pitch:

Edgbaston dishes out a well-balanced track with a slight advantage for bowlers over batters, as evidenced by a modest average score at the venue. While pacers benefit from the lateral movement, spinners also hold an advantage on the track.

Weather:

The temperature is expected to hover around 12°C, with moderate winds and humidity of 92%. However, showers on the radar and throughout the match duration could again play spoilsport and potentially result in a washout.
