Kate Anderson

The 29-year-old all-rounder registered 262 runs at an average of 32.75 from eight outings in the 2024–25 HJS season and also claimed four wickets from six innings. Kate began this season in outstanding fashion, smashing a majestic 171* and taking three wickets in three overs. Given her reliability with both bat and ball, she can be trusted to deliver once again.

Sarah Asmussen

The 25-year-old leg-spinner claimed 10 wickets from nine HJS outings last season at an economy rate of 5.46. She has started this season right where she left off, picking up a couple of wickets in the opening game. All eyes will be on whether she can maintain this momentum and lead the wickets tally for her side.

Rosemary Mair

The 27-year-old pace-bowling all-rounder collected 10 wickets from just three outings last season, including a memorable 6/21, at an economy rate of 4.14 and an average of 11.60. She returned figures of 2/41 in this season’s opening match and will be counted on to carry this form into the business end of the tournament.

Hannah Rowe

The 29-year-old pacer took an impressive 18 wickets from nine outings last season at an economy rate of 3.76, with best figures of 4/42. In this season’s opener, Rowe went wicketless but contributed a valuable 40 runs, showcasing her all-round ability. She will be relied upon to deliver impactful performances across departments.

Pitch:

Pukekura Park dishes out a balanced center wicket with a slight advantage for bowlers over batters, as evidenced by a modest average score in the 190s at the venue. The conditions will see pacers hold an advantage on the track.
