Akshara Srinivasan
The 20-year-old pace all-rounder has had a brilliant tournament, first during the T20 leg, and now has carried on her form to the One-Dayers. Akshara scored a match-winning 56*(55) in the opener and has produced figures of 1/11 (8) and 2/16 in 2 games.
Kayal Sirpiga
The 17-year-old spinner has been one of the best on the show for the Warriors. Kayal got her One-Day campaign underway registering figures of 3/15 (4) and followed up with an economical outing finishing on figures of 1/13 (6).
Lakshminarayan Nethra
The 28-year-old spin all-rounder has continued on her good form from the T20s to the One-Day leg. Though Nethra didn’t have a good 2nd game, in the season opener she registered figures of 0/34 (9) and 41(35).
Janlin Chandra
The 15-year-old pacer has looked promising this season. Chandra as a tailender has been handy with the bat, while with the ball has looked very good registering figures of 0/34 (10) and 1/3 (2).
Pitch:
The 22-yard strip at JS Academy Pbel, Chennai, offers a balanced playing surface that slightly favors the bowlers. While it is good for batting, the average score of 186 suggests the assistance that bowlers, particularly spinners can expect from the pitch.
