For all the people who love women’s cricket, good news is here. As eighteen of the best female cricketer are selected from round the globe to play the KSL ,this summer. The England and Wales cricket board announced that each of the six teams will have three overseas players in the round-robin T20 event. The event is said to be happening in july-august with top performers of ICC world cup performing in it.
Here are the information about the teams and all the big names in it.
The side is led by the English wicket-keeper and phenomenal batsman Sarah Taylor and her team mates Kate Cross and Danielle Wyatt are in the team as well. The overseas player of this team are, Australian bowler Sarah Coyte and West Indian all rounder Deandra Dottin. The third major overseas player is yet to be named.
English players like Georgia Elwiss, Rebecca Grundy, Amy Jones, Beth Langston are in the team. The star player of the team is Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry. The other two overseas player of the team are Sophie Devine (New Zealand), Dane van Nierkerk (South Africa).
The team is led by the captain of the English side and one of the most talented player, Charlotte Edwards other English player like Natasha Farrant,Lydia Greenway. The overseas player of the team are, Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2013, Suzie Bates and Sara McGlashan from New Zealand and Megan Schutt from Australia.
Led by the very talented Natalie Sciver, the team consists of English player like Tammy Beaumont and Laura Marsh. The Australian captain Meg Lanning, Rene Farrell, Marizanne Kapp (South Africa) are also part of the team.
The side is captained by Heather Knight. Huge names like Anya Shrubsole and the successful Windies captain Stephanie Taylor are also part of the team. Fran Wilson, Lizell Lee (South Africa), Rachel Priest (New Zealand) are also the players to keep an eye on.
Lauren Winfield is the captain of the team. English players like Katherine Brunt,Jenny Gunn, Danielle Hazell are the part of team.Alex Blackwell (Australia),Beth Mooney (Australia), Shabnim Ismail (South Africa) are the overseas buy of the team.
Overseas players will receive a standardised tournament participation fee, match fee for each game that they compete in, plus expenses throughout the preparation and competition phases.
