The story shows how Mithali Raj at a young age gets connected to cricket from being a Bharatnatyam dancer. The film moves on to show the struggles and the hard yards Mithali Raj put in. It then revolves around how Mithali led from the front and made her bat do all the talking for the Indian Women’s team to receive a respectful status, worked hard towards equality gap come close and ends by showing how she was successful to help bring the spotlight on the Women’s Team.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas starrer Mary Kom was released in 2014 and was directed by Omung Kumar.
