Kerry when departed on 20(21) was followed by Nensi Patel (5-ball 2), but Nicola Carey hung in and finished unbeaten on 40(30) alongside Nattaya Boochatham (6-ball 6*) to guide her side to a 4-wicket win with 10 balls to spare. Barmy Army’s wicket chart saw Rumana Ahmed with figures of 2/21 (4), Tara Norris with figures of 2/34 (4), and Fatima Sana and Deandra Dottin with a wicket each.

Result: Spirit won by 4 wickets

Convincing all-round play from Barmy Army but the side missed a trick in one of their top 4 not registering a big score that would have helped them finish stronger. Spirit too got there at the end, but surely not in the fashion they would have wished for as a few set batters failed to make most of their starts.
