Heather Knight (C), Lauren Bell, Maia Bouchier, Charlie Dean, Sophia Dunkley, Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Filer, Sarah Glenn, Amy Jones (WK), Freya Kemp, Alice Capsey, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Linsey Smith, Danni Wyatt-Hodge

Players to watch out:

Anneke Bosch

The 31-year-old top-order batter, from 39 T20I innings, has amassed 910 runs at an average of 27.57 and a strike rate of 109.77, with the highest score of 74*. Anneke has been in notable form lately, delivering important runs in a bilateral series against Pakistan and then a 74* in a World Cup semi-final. Although she has managed starts of 9 and 18 in this series, it is hoped she will follow up with a big score.

Eliz-Mari Marx

The 21-year-old pacer, from 7 T20I innings, has picked up 5 wickets at an economy rate of 7.92, with the best of 3/19. Eliz-Mari made a promising debut, returning figures of 1/25 (4) and 0/20 (4) late last year. Following a few expensive outings in subsequent matches, she bounced back in the series opener with impressive figures of 3/19 (3.2). She should be backed to build on this start and lead the tally.

Maia Bouchier

The 25-year-old top-order batter, from 34 T20I innings, has accumulated 674 runs at an average of 24.07 and a strike rate of 121.66, with the highest score of 91. Maia hasn’t had much success of late but has consistently managed good starts, registering scores of 23, 8, 62*, and 14. In this series, she has again managed starts (20 and 9) and can be counted on to convert them into substantial scores.

Lauren Bell

The 23-year-old bowler, from 26 T20I appearances, has scalped 33 wickets, including the best of 4/12, while maintaining an economy rate of 7.02. Lauren hasn’t had much game time, featuring in only two World Cup games and sitting out of this series opener. She proved expensive on her return, conceding 46 runs from 4 overs, but she is a promising talent and can be banked upon to produce breakthroughs.

Pitch:

The 22-yard center strip at SuperSport Park provides a well-balanced surface, slightly favoring the batters. Despite being good for batting, the average score in the 150s suggests that bowlers, particularly pacers, can expect some assistance from the wicket.

Weather:

The conditions are ideal to be at SuperSport Park, with minimal chance of rain and partly cloudy skies overhead. The temperature is forecasted to hover in the early 20s (°C), with light winds and 43% humidity.

Fantasy playing XI:

Amy Jones, Danni Wyatt-Hodge, Heather Knight, Laura Wolvaardt, Tazmin Brits, Maia Bouchier, Nat Sciver-Brunt, Nadine de Klerk, Sarah Glenn, Sophie Ecclestone, Charlie Dean
