PAKISTAN’S SQUAD FOR THE GAMES :
Bismah Maroof (C), Aiman Anwar, Aliya Riaz, Anam Amin, Ayesha Naseem, Diana Baig, Fatima Sana, Gull Feroza, Iram Javed, Kainat Imtiaz, Muneeba Ali Siddiqui, Nida Dar, Omaima Sohail, Sadia Iqbal, Tuba Hassan.
SQUAD NEWS
The team won their home series against Sri Lanka, but their final buildup during the Tri-series against Ireland and Australia wasn’t very impressive. Shortage of runs has been Pakistan’s headache as not many accelerate.
PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT FOR
Bismah Maroof
Skipper, Bismah Maroof is one of the best batters in Pakistan. She’s always held the team’s score from an end and anchors the innings really well. Bismah Maroof’s T20I stats of 2336 runs in 108 innings which sees 11 fifties is an explanation for the above.
Nida Dar
Pace all-rounder, Nida Dar is one of the core members of the team. She’s very experienced and is a player with nearly 1300 runs and 106 wickets and also has a fifer to her name. She bowls with an excellent economy of 5.34.
Tuba Hassan
Spinner, Tuba Hassan is a rookie on the international stage but hasn’t looked like one as she’s been very impressive right from game 1 of her career in national colours. Tuba has picked up 6 wickets in 4 innings with the best of 3/8 that’d come in her debut game.
