Players to watch out:

Ipshita Mondal

The 14-year-old top-order batter, averaging 24.33, has posted 73 runs to the tally from 4 innings in the competition thus far. Ipshita has made two important contributions with a season best of 32 and 28 in one of her recent games. Though in her most recent game she struggled for runs, departing for 9(24), she’ll be backed to find her footing.

Arikhtha Manna

The 19-year-old left-arm off-spinner, in 4 outings in the competition thus far, has scalped 5 wickets maintaining an economy rate of 5.53. Arikhtha’s bowling figures from her previous couple of outings read 1/20 (4) and 0/18 (3), but it wasn’t long before she registered her season best of 3/26. She is an exciting talent and can be relied upon for breakthroughs.

Sansthita Biswas

The 24-year-old keeper-batter hasn’t had the best of outings in this competition, struggling for runs. Sansthita has managed only 46 runs from 4 outings, and 31 of those came early in the competition in an inning. In her recent couple of outings, Sansthita departed cheaply on scores of 3(10) and 8(7) while opening the innings, and it’ll be hoped she gets back among the runs.

Ratna Barman

The 15-year-old all-rounder, in her only outing during the team’s most recent game, added 18 important runs off 20 balls before being run out. In her only over, she gave away just 4 runs and picked up the wicket of a set batter. Ratna has had a promising first appearance, and it will be watched if she can replicate this success, delivering the goods with both bat and ball.

Pitch:

The center wicket at the Jadavpur University Complex is a balanced one that slightly favors the bowlers. While it is conducive for batting, the average score in the 120s suggests greater assistance for bowlers, especially spinners.

Weather:

The rain on the radar throughout the match duration could play spoilsport, potentially resulting in a washout. The temperature is forecasted to hover around 33°C, with light winds and a humidity level of 75%.
