We witnessed the chasing sides falling short of the target on the 3rd day of the tournament. Shrachi Rarh Tigers (SRT) defeated Harbour Diamonds (HD) by 15 runs. Murshidabad Kueens (MK) defeated Servotech Siliguri Strikers (SSS) by four runs in the 6th match of the season.
Rashmi Medinipur Wizards (RMW) led by skipper Kashish Agarwal were all set to face Adamas Howrah Warriors (AHW) led by skipper Dhara Gujjar in the 7th match of the season. On the other hand, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers (LSKT) led by skipper Mita Paul were all set to face Sobisco Smashers Malde (SSM) in the 8th match of the season.
Match 7: 15th June 2024: Rashmi Medinipur Wizards (RMW) Vs Adamas Howrah Warriors (AHW).
Skipper Dhara Gujjar powers Adamas Howrah Warriors to a comprehensive victory over Rashmi Medinipur Wizards.
Adamas Howrah Warriors skipper Dhara Gujjar won the toss and opted to field first. After being inserted to bat first, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards posted a total of 117/2 in their quota of overs. The 94-run opening stand between Trishita Sarkar and wicket-keeper batter Dyutit Pal was the highest partnership of the innings. Trishita Sarkar (42 off 53 balls), and wicket-keeper batter Dyutit Pal (37 off 45 balls) were the top performers with the bat for Rashmi Medinipur Wizards. Chasing a target of 118, Adamas Howrah Warriors cruised through the target and eventually got over the line with seven wickets in hand and four balls to spare. Ananya Halder’s 3-fer and Tithi Das’s all-round show powers Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers to a thumping 69-run victory.
Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers skipper Mita Paul won the toss and opted to bat first. Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers posted a competitive total of 128/6 in their quota of overs. The 63-run 2nd wicket partnership between Ipsita Mondal and skipper Mita Paul was the highest partnership of the innings. Skipper MIta Paul (45 off 44 balls), Tithi Das (37 off 33 balls), and Ipsita Mondal (32 off 32 balls) were the top performers with the bat for Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers.
