Bengal Women’s Pro T20 League: Day 3: Report
We witnessed an edge-of-the-seat contest on the 2nd day of the tournament between Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers (LSKT) led by skipper Mita Paul and Adamas Howrah Warriors (AHW) led by skipper Dhara Gujjar in the third match of the tournament. LSKT clinched the game by three runs. Rashmi Medinipur Wizards (RMW) led by skipper Kashish Agarwal were all set to face Sobisco Smashers Malda (SSM) led by skipper Hrishita Basu in the 4th match of the season. SSM sealed the game by four wickets.
Harbour Diamonds (HD) were all set to face Shrachi Rarh Tigers (SRT) in the 5th match of the tournament. On the other hand, the Murshidabad Kueens (MK) were all set to lock horns against the Servotech Siliguri Strikers (SSS) in the 6th match of the season.
Match 5: 14th June 2024: Harbour Diamonds (HD) Vs Shrachi Rarh Tigers (SRT).
Sujata Dey and Rupal Tiwari’s all-round show powers Shrachi Rarh Tigers to a comfortable victory.
Harbour Diamonds skipper Sukanya Parida won the toss and opted to field first. After being inserted to bat first, Shrachi Rarh Tigers posted a total of 109/7 in their quota of overs. The 42-run 2nd wicket partnership between wicket-keeper batter Parna Paul and Sujata Dey was the highest partnership of the innings. Sujata Dey (33 off 25 balls) and Rupal Tiwari (20 off 25 balls) were the top performers with the bat for Shrachi Rarh Tigers. Mouli Mondal (4-0-11-1), Jhumia Khatun (4-0-24-2), and Payel Vakharia (4-0-24-2) were the top performers with the ball for Harbour Diamonds.
Chasing a target of 110, the Harbour Diamonds kept losing wickets at regular intervals and as a result, were bundled out for 94 with four balls to spare, falling short of the target by 15 runs. Jhumia Khatun (17 off 25 balls), and skipper Sukanya Parida (15 off 13 balls) were the top performers with the bat for Harbour Diamonds. Rupal Tiwari (4-0-13-1), Roshni Khatun (4-0-14-1), Remondina Khatun (3.2-0-16-2), and Chandrima Biswas (3-0-20-2) were the top performers with the ball for Shrachi Rarh Tigers.
Match 6: 14th June 2024: Murshidabad Kueens (MK) Vs Servotech Siliguri Strikers (SSS).

Murshidabad Kueens skipper Prativa Rana won the toss and opted to bat first. Murshidabad Kueens ended up with a total of 98/6 in their quota of overs. The 48-run 2nd wicket partnership between Sneha Gupta and Sandipta Patra was the highest partnership of the innings. Sandipta Patra (26 off 42 balls), and skipper Prativa Rana (19 off 20 balls) were the top performers with the bat for Murshidabad Kueens. Chandrima Ghosal (4-0-12-2), Snigdha Bag (4-0-21-2), and Pampa Sarkar (1-0-3-2) were the top performers with the ball for Servotech Siliguri Strikers.
