Bangladesh and Sri Lanka Women’s U19 teams will travel to Pakistan for a T20 tri-series with hosts Pakistan at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule, which will be played from 2 to 16 October. The series will use a triple round-robin format, with the top two reaching the final. Sri Lanka U19 will arrive in Pakistan on 28 September, while Bangladesh will arrive a day later for the series.

Pakistan will begin its preparation early with a training camp in Faisalabad from 16 to 27 September. All three teams will also train at the Iqbal Stadium on 29, 30 September and 1 October before the series. The tournament will be the first women’s international cricket event at the Iqbal Stadium. The venue saw international cricket return in November 2025 after 17 years, when South Africa men played a three-match ODI series against Pakistan. The three teams will use sessions to get ready for the demanding schedule and make the most of match opportunities before the final.
The tri-series has been arranged with the ACC Women’s U19 Asia Cup and ICC Women’s U19 World Cup ahead. The format is meant to give players maximum opportunities before those events. Each team will play six T20s before the final, with 10 matches scheduled across two weeks. Pakistan will open the tournament against Bangladesh on Friday, 2 October, and then play Sri Lanka on 3 October, before all three teams rest on 4 October.
Pakistan have named a 20-member U19 squad for the series, with Fizza Fiaz continuing as captain. Top-order batter Qamrosh Farhan, opening batters Malaika Suhani and Pakeeza Shabbir, along with off-spinner Afsheen Khan, have received maiden call-ups. Qamrosh joins her sister Ravail in the squad after scoring 139 runs in the National Women’s U19 Tournament. Pakeeza was the tournament’s best batter with 283 runs, Malaika scored 192 runs, and Afsheen won the best bowler award after taking 18 wickets.
The Pakistan squad will reach Faisalabad and take part in a 12-day training camp at the Iqbal Stadium and Bohranwala. The camp will include at least four intra-squad practice matches. Only 15 players will be considered for selection on match days. The remaining five will stay in Faisalabad and be included in the 15 on a rotational basis. The arrangement will allow the selectors to use the 20-member squad across the competition while the team continues its preparation in Faisalabad.
