Since making her international debut in 2021, Halliday has become an established member of the New Zealand women’s team. The Auckland-born player has represented the White Ferns in 56 One Day Internationals and 63 T20 Internationals, scoring more than 2,100 runs across the two formats. Halliday has scored 1,462 ODI runs at an average of 34.00. Her record includes a career-best unbeaten 157 and nine half-centuries.

Halliday has also claimed 16 wickets at international level and will strengthen Warwickshire during the closing stages of their 2026 campaign. She arrives in Birmingham fresh from New Zealand’s participation in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and adds quality to Warwickshire’s squad. She has also gained experience in overseas franchise cricket with Perth Scorchers in the Women’s Big Bash League.

Warwickshire Head Coach Ali Maiden welcomed Halliday’s signing and highlighted what she can bring to the team. “Brooke is a proven international performer who gives us quality, experience and balance to the squad. Her ability to contribute with the bat is crucial and having her as an option with the ball will be a huge asset, and we’re delighted to have her with us for the remainder of the season.”

Her left-handed batting gives the squad another batting option, while her right-arm medium pace provides an additional bowling choice. Her experience with New Zealand and Perth Scorchers will add to the quality at Edgbaston. Halliday is eligible for all remaining fixtures and is available for immediate selection.
