Top 3: Phoebe Litchfield, Sutherland and Deepti Sharma – Players to Watch Out Against Trent Rockets

Sunrisers Leeds Women have reached The Hundred Women’s Competition 2026 final after beating Southern Brave by five wickets with 11 balls remaining in the Eliminator at The Oval on August 14. Lauren Winfield-Hill led the chase with 37, while Deepti Sharma stayed unbeaten on 28 from 22 balls. Annabel Sutherland scored 17 from 12 balls and Jess Jonassen finished unbeaten on 10 from five balls. Phoebe Litchfield

Phoebe Litchfield has been one of Sunrisers Leeds’ main batting threats in The Hundred 2026 and will be important in the final. She has scored 293 runs in nine matches, with a highest score of 71 not out. Her average is 36.62, and her strike rate is 166.47, showing how quickly she can add runs. Litchfield has also hit 46 fours and seven sixes, while recording two half-centuries. She made only four runs in the Eliminator, but one quiet innings does not change her overall record this season. If she finds her rhythm early at Lord’s, Litchfield can give Sunrisers a fast start and put the Rockets bowlers under pressure.

Annabel Sutherland

Annabel Sutherland has been another key player for Sunrisers Leeds, making a strong impact with both bat and ball. She has scored 290 runs in nine matches at an average of 72.50 and a strike rate of 158.46. Her highest score is 62 not out, while she has hit 26 fours and 10 sixes during the competition. Sutherland has also taken 12 wickets in her last 10 matches at a strike rate of 16.33. In the Eliminator, she scored 17 from 12 balls and took two wickets for 31 runs from 20 balls. Her all-round value gives Sunrisers another match-winning option, especially in a final where a contribution in either department can change the result.

Deepti Sharma

Deepti Sharma has been one of the most important players in Sunrisers Leeds’ campaign and their leading wicket-taker in The Hundred 2026. She has taken 13 wickets in nine matches, with best figures of 3/11. Deepti has bowled 145 balls and conceded 176 runs, giving her a bowling average of 13.53, an economy rate of 7.28 and a strike rate of 11.15. She also played an important role in the Eliminator, taking one wicket for 24 runs from 15 balls before scoring an unbeaten 28 from 22 balls. Her control, experience and ability to contribute with the bat make her especially valuable when the pressure rises. She can also help Sunrisers control the middle part of the innings.

Sunrisers Leeds will enter the final with confidence, but Trent Rockets will also be strong after finishing the league stage at the top and earning a direct place in the title match. The Rockets beat Sunrisers by five runs in their league meeting on August 2, defending their total successfully. Sunrisers have since responded well and now have the chance to finish their campaign with another trophy. Litchfield can attack at the top, Sutherland can influence both innings, and Deepti can control the middle overs while taking important wickets. Their combined form gives Sunrisers several ways to challenge a strong Rockets side.

The final at Lord’s will be the biggest test of Sunrisers Leeds’ season and a chance to finish their campaign with another title. Trent Rockets will be determined to make their advantage count after earning the direct final spot through a strong league campaign. Sunrisers showed in the Eliminator that they can handle pressure, chase a target efficiently and find contributions from different players. Their final challenge will be to produce that same calm cricket against a well-rested Rockets team. If Litchfield provides a quick start, Sutherland makes another all-round contribution, and Deepti controls the key middle overs, Sunrisers will have a strong chance of lifting the trophy at Lord’s in front of their supporters on Sunday.
