Yorkshire County Cricket Club have announced the signing of England international Em Arlott, who will join the club from November 1 ahead of the 2027 season. The 28-year-old bowler has signed a three-year contract and will move to Yorkshire from Warwickshire.
Arlott’s move is an important addition to Yorkshire’s women’s cricket team as the club continues to develop its squad and build for the future. The Norfolk-born cricketer has already gained valuable experience at domestic and international level and will now begin a new chapter of her career at Headingley.
Arlott joined Warwickshire at the start of the new domestic structure and has spent two seasons with the club at Edgbaston. During her time there, she has taken 28 wickets, making a strong contribution to Warwickshire’s bowling attack.
Before joining Warwickshire, Arlott played for Central Sparks during the regional era. She was an important part of their bowling unit and took 72 wickets across List A and T20 cricket.
Her performances in domestic cricket also helped her earn a place in the England team. Arlott has represented England 10 times across ODIs and T20s. She made an impressive start to her international career in 2025 when she took 3/14 in a Women’s T20I against the West Indies.
After gaining experience with Warwickshire and England, Arlott is now excited about joining Yorkshire and becoming part of the club’s plans for the future.

These are legends of the game, and I feel ready to help get Yorkshire to the very top.”
Arlott said the chance to work with experienced players such as Lauren Winfield-Hill and Jess Jonnassen was one of the major reasons behind her decision to join Yorkshire. She also praised the club’s plans and said she is ready to help the team reach the highest level.
Yorkshire General Manager of Cricket Gavin Hamilton welcomed the signing and said Arlott’s move to Headingley showed the strength of the club’s growing women’s cricket project.

Arlott’s arrival gives Yorkshire another experienced bowling option ahead of the 2027 season. Her ability to take wickets in both List A and T20 cricket, along with her experience of playing international cricket for England, could make her an important part of the team’s plans.
