Tasmia Rubab is a young Pakistan women’s cricketer who plays mainly as a fast bowler. She is known for her left-arm pace bowling and calm attitude on the field. Left-arm fast bowlers are rare in women’s cricket, so she gives Pakistan a variety in the bowling attack.

Tasmia started playing cricket in Multan and later represented the Multan women’s team in domestic cricket. Her good performances in domestic matches helped her move into Pakistan A teams before reaching the senior national side.

In October 2023, she was selected in Pakistan A squads for the one-day series against West Indies A and the T20 tri-series with West Indies A and Thailand A. These matches helped her gain experience and improve her skills.

In 2024, she was picked in Pakistan’s squads for the Women’s Asia Cup and the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. These selections showed that the team management believes in her talent and future potential.

Tasmia Rubab’s T20I Career

Tasmia Rubab made her T20I debut for Pakistan against South Africa on 18 September 2024. So far, she has played 2 T20Is for Pakistan. In those matches, she bowled 30 balls and gave away 60 runs.
