Rameen Shamim is a Pakistan women’s cricketer who plays mainly as a bowler. She is known for her off-spin bowling and calm attitude on the field. She also bats left-handed and can score useful runs in the lower order.
Rameen started playing cricket in Karachi and later played domestic cricket for Karachi, Sindh, Omar Associates, and Saif Sports Saga. Her steady performances in domestic matches helped her reach the national team.
In April 2019, she was picked in Pakistan’s squad for the South Africa series. A few weeks later, she made her T20I debut.
Rameen Shamim’s T20I Career
Rameen Shamim made her T20I debut for Pakistan against South Africa in May 2019. She has played 13 T20Is and taken 9 wickets for Pakistan, her best bowling figures are 3/36. She has bowled 277 balls and given 306 runs in T20I cricket.
Rameen mostly bowls in the middle overs and tries to slow down the scoring rate. She bowls with control and keeps things simple. Her off-spin bowling has helped Pakistan in many important moments.

Recent Form Ahead of ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026
Before the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, Rameen played in Pakistan’s home series against Zimbabwe in May 2026. She picked up wickets in the T20I series and bowled important overs for the team. In the ODI series against Zimbabwe, she also took 2 wickets for 20 runs in one match.
With her experience and smart bowling, Rameen Shamim can play an important role for Pakistan in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
