Tanzania Women have named a balanced squad for the highly anticipated NIDA Textiles Cup bilateral T20I series against Canada Women, which takes place from October 27th to November 5th, 2025, at University of Dar-es-Salaam Ground. The home team will be led by Neema Justine Pius, who brings both composure with the bat and inspirational leadership in the field.

The squad is an exciting blend of experience and emerging talent. Neema Pius will have support from all-rounders Fatuma Omary Kibasu and Monica Pascal, who can turn matches with both bat and ball. The batting department carries depth with the likes of Hudaa Omary, Mwanamvua Ushanga, and Nasra Hamza—all of whom have demonstrated their ability to anchor innings and accelerate when needed.
Behind the stumps, wicketkeepers Saumu Hussen and Shufaa Mohamedi provide stability and agility, while the bowling attack—featuring Jenipher Kimaro, Nasra Saidi, Sheila Kizito, and Sophia Jerome—gives Tanzania plenty of options to counter the Canadian batting. Aisha Mohamed Ally and Perice Kamunya stand out as impactful all-rounders, lending further flexibility to the lineup.
The squad also features key young talents like Saum Bokarami, Saum Mtae, and Nasra Nassoro, who are eager to make an impression on home soil. The coaching staff, led by Imran Nackerdien with Rijali Mursali Fentu as assistant, has worked hard to prepare the team for this significant series.
