New Zealand’s Churchill Trust Festival of Women’s Cricket promises to be a family fun day out

The Churchill Trust Festival of Women’s Cricket is set to be held on 8th December and is already in hype to prove as a fruitful day. There are going to be six teams with all females allowed to participate aged 13 or above, players aren’t required to be experienced, anyone can participate and will be offered assistance whenever needed.

Games will be played with a softer ball to avoid any injury so there won’t be any need for equipment in general and if needed they will be provided on the field itself. There have been good responses after this announcement so far. It will also include rewards such as be prizes for the overall winner along with other spot prizes throughout the day.

This initiative is to promote sporting culture and receive active participation from women which will, in turn, provide a fun environment for everyone present there.
